Sookie (to Bill, Eric, Pam, Russell): Go crawl back into your holes you creepy cold freaks! She’s one foul-mouthed, bad-ass-fairy, flinging her light around like it’s no man’s business and cursing all vampires to hell. Sookie also goes off the deep end in this episode. *love her!*īut even though he saves him, Eric still wants Russell to be punished so he goes against what Godric says and buries Russell in liquid concrete wrapped in silver.Įric: This is who I am, Godric. Pam: Do the world a favor and let that little fry. In the end, he half-listens and saves Russell from the true death by sunlight even though Pam had a few choice words for him. Love the appearance of Godric who attempts to “save” whatever is left inside of Eric so that he can find peace, but Eric is too consumed with vengeance and hate to forgive Russell for killing his family. And let’s not forget all the other intrigue peppered into this last episode – Bill’s hidden secrets and attempt to kill Eric, Sookie’s emotional breakdown and departure into the light, and Lafayette’s freaky clairvoyant visions. Overall, it wasn’t a bad finale, lots of blood, action, and black vampire ash.

The true romance budding for Lafayette took a nasty turn in the last episode. “I think they did an excellent job of the cliffhanger this year for my character, for Anna’s character (Sookie) and for Alex’s character (Eric), too.” “Very shocking on every front,” Marshall Allman (Tommy) teased of the finale. After all these years on the planet, Eric will be left reassessing his morality, but that won’t stop him from continuing to plot his revenge. That’s my job, I guess, to stir it up a bit.”Īs expected, Eric and Russell will survive their brush with the sun. “She can’t stay with Bill forever, you know,” Alexander Skarsgard told E! “They can be super happy in real life, but on the show we need some drama. Having been sucked almost dry again thanks to Eric and Bill’s plan to take down Russell, she starts to consider life without Bill. Meanwhile, after this week’s feeding frenzy, Sookie ( Anna Paquin) is definitely over being vampire crack. She’s going to see yet another side of crabby Sam. Poor Tara, she’s always with the wrong guys at the wrong time.

After this season, we know sleepy little Bon Temps is also host to fairies, werewolves, inbred werepanthers, Wiccan witches and maybe even a demon in hunky disguise. Forget the simple days of vampires and shape shifters. The penultimate episode of True Blood was a doozy.
